Ian and Lacey met the old fashioned way: Bumble. After some cute conversation and light roasting (Lacey told Ian his job as a playground designer sounded made up?) they had their first date at Moto-i in Minneapolis.

One night, after they had been dating for a month or two, Ian brought up the idea of being “Facebook official.” Lacey was totally oblivious to Ian’s intentions. The next morning she woke up to a Facebook notification that Ian had listed the two as “in a relationship” — hoping it would spark a conversation, not realizing it would post publicly to all of their friends. Once he realized, he spent the rest of the day sweating it out before Lacey clicked “accept” on this new relationship status. Needless to say, Lacey received a ton of calls and texts that morning!
